I guess if one day they're gonna make us quit driving BOF frame vehicles by any manufacturer, this is a good thing. If the AWD systems are good enough to actually make an A/T tire usable, then it will sell. The problem with these systems right now is they probably wouldn't react well to tires that are more than one size larger. But it is encouraging.....

True it is encouraging to see awd vehicles handling so offroading that most 4 runners have yet to experience. Unfortunately when the terrain gets actually bad no awd crossover will be able to handle big tires and stress that big rocks will be put on those weak diffs. Without a low range the transmission will probably overheat and break.
