Thanks for posting those pictures!
The color really looks pretty good, not too blue/purple but not too yellow either. It looks like there's a little less output from the Razos in your first picture though. But, the output is still a heck of a lot better than a lot of other bulbs I've seen.

The output is nowhere near as bright in that first picture. No comparison, the Phillips are brighter. I'm not even convinced that the Razo's are "whiter". They are, what I like to call, "bluer". To each his own I guess.
I would, however, like to see a side-by-side pic of the 55w Phillips bulb next to a 65w (modified) Razo bulb in the low beam location. That mod 65w Razo would probably be the ideal bulb.

I've tried most of the discussed bulbs - Silverstars, Razo 606, Razo 607, and Phillips Crystal Vision. Here's my take:
1. Silverstars - Not bad, definitely whiter and brighter than the stock bulbs;
2. Phillips Crystal Vision - supposedly rated at 4000K like the Silverstars, but they did not seem to be as white or as bright as the Silverstars;
3. Razo 607 - bluer than both of the above bulbs, for sure, but still very bright;
4. Razo 606 - an absolute perfect match for the true HID lights - incredibly whitish/blue with good brightness. To me, they impossible to distinguish from cars that are equipped with factory HID lights. Best of the bunch.

I've used Razo 606 on my 04 Camry. It's much brighter than stock or Silverstar ONLY when you look at it. sadly, it DOES NOT provide enought light in the dark, specially under the rain or wet road.
Silverstar does not has the blueish tin as the Razo. However, it's way brighter than stock or RAZO. So, if you like that very blueish look then get Razo, but if you want something that helps you to see better then stick with Silverstar. Look out for discount coupon for SILVERSTAR from PEPBOY. I've purchased two sets last year for $19.98/per set after $5 mail-in rebate.

Razo 607s look good from outside but they're crap bulbs. I'll probably keep them for my fogs and replace the headlights with the pair of Silverstars that I bought a while ago.

Check out Koz's link. I've used Philips bulbs on my M3 for years and like them a lot from a cost/performance perspective. I think Silverstars are overpriced. There's a few on eBay but they're not much cheaper than buying them at Pepboys or AutoZone after shipping is factored in.
Personally, the stock lights are pretty damn good (and bright!).

I just outfitted the 4runner with PIAA's all around. These lights were expensive. I am so pissed at myself, because I had seen on this forum that everybody was going with silverstars. I am a person who thinks you get what you pay for. SO, I opted not to go with the silverstars. Long story short. I broke one of the PIAA's and replaced it with a silverstar cause I didn't want to dish out that kind of cash again for a bulbs. Result I think the silverstars are just as good if not better than the more expensive PIAA's. Bottom line save your dough if you are not going to do the true HID thing and get the Silverstars.
