Razo's vs. Silverstars

Just a quick update on my new mod. I purchased a couple of sets of the Razo BG606's off ebay, cuz someone posted a thread about them a couple of days ago, and man they are brighter. Yes, they have a more blluish tint, but they are alot brighter than the silverstars. I am going to put a set in the foglights this weekend, so i will give an update as to the effect as well, but for now. Big Big fan

Yea you're right. Tonight, when it snows it will def show the lights better, so i will keep in one of the silverstars and the Razo's so you can see the difference

OH isht, i was looking for the thread. Dude, they are sick. Not to "cheesy" looking and nice and bright. Better than silverstars by far. I may pick up a few more sets.

Let me ask you this, How many other brands have u used before you found these. ANd are these the "it" bulb for you?
 
I've used Liteglow, eurodezigns (twice), 80watt generic bulbs, and stock wattage generics. These are definitely the "it" bulb. I haven't tried PIAA spark blue, but they're a ripoff anyway.
 
I got mine yesterday, I will put them in tonight...chunderboy, I think I out bid you last week in the last minute got them for $4.25! sorry :tongue:
 
Na wasn't me. I actually got them for 3 bones. You believe that isht. I am going to buy as many pairs as possible

I'm the naysayer from the other post (hee-hee). I'm just concerned about how long those Razo's will last - but judging by all the different opinions of PIAA and the Silverstars, I guess it doesn't matter now: some of the name brands burn out in 6 months, so it's tough to tell then.

Hey: has anyone put the 65w Razo's in the low beam lamp (with that mod) ?

I just installed 65w Silverstars last night in the low beam location and it was a big improvement, but they are not really as white (or blue) as I would have thought. No where near my PIAA Ultra White fogs on my jeep. 'course, I paid $30+ for each PIAA bulb on ebay.

Chunderboy, I'm guessing you're in New England based on your weather forecast?! We're getting a couple inches of the white stuff tonight in Mass.

Yea i was a little hesitant about getting them as well, but as they say, with improved performance, the life span is less. As far as quality, i guess only time will tell. But as i said, the did make a difference and are brighter than the silverstars.

I am getting the other package tomorrow with another pair in the shipment. I am going to put one in and keep the silverstar in the other so i can take a side by side comparisson shot so you guys can get a feel of what i am working with.

As far as the razo size, it is still the bg606. that is the same one that goes in the headlight housing. So, i willl see when i get the other package

But to be honest, for 8 bucks with shipping and handling, and some good feedback on the life of the bulb and the performance, how can you loose

No doubt. I just installed a pair that I bought on ebay for $2.50 and there is absolutely NO comparison to the Silverstars. These look like true HID lights with the bluish tint...and nice and bright as well. Awesome.

Time to go and bid on more.
 
does anyone have any pics of the silverstar and these bulbs?

I have silverstars now, I would like to see a sidebyside pics of each.


Sound like a pretty good deal for the price.
 
I am going to put one in the head lamp, and one in the fog lamp when i get the next pair tomorrow. So as soon as that happens i will be posting a pick of the front. I'll take one or two with the lights focused on the garage door, and a couple from a distance.

Any other you guys would like?
 
Ok I have side by pics. I am disapointed. On the left are the Razo on the right are OEM. Brithness is not increased by my eye attached are some photos.

My photos have too much memory...
 
this sucks. I have submit to another website to give information. which they ask personal information!!!
there's gotta be another way!
 
so far the pictures are not comming. The Ravos suck from my percpective. You get what you pay for.? Maybe other bulbs are the better way to go.

I want to say who suggests Raveos to stand to proove it!
