RCI Metalworks **FEELER** KDSS A-arm skids

I was speaking with Josh at RCI about a-arm skids for KDSS trucks. He said they are in the works but if we can generate some interest the prototype will get moved along faster. This is simply a feeler thread, NO COMMITMENT!

The non-KDSS skids start at $115 so expect maybe a bit more for KDSS. I stressed to Josh that I am looking for a skid that extends forward enough to protect where the KDSS piston bolts to the A-arm.

One question, how do you access the alignment cam if its covered by the skid?!

You can access it with a crescent wrench from the diff side on the 4th gens. otherwise, pull the skid, it takes 5 mins

I just ordered a set. Shouldnt be too much work to just alter it a bit to work with the kdss. Assuming you have access to a welder.

I often wondered why someone hasn't made these already. Excuse me if my question seems funny but I read this and was confused.
I am thinking you meant where the sway bar bolts to the a-arm? As the piston comes down and clamps to the sway bar near the bottom of the radiator and the sway bar bolts to the a-arm.
In that case would the skid be covering those bolts?

I imagine one could buy a regular set and use a plasma cutter and cut out the section where the bolts for the sway bar connect. But it would be much more protected with the skid covering that part too.
