Back in May of 2013 I believe, I started a thread on a Clicking sound from behind or underneath dashboard. I was directed to this link:

My question is this: Is there another place to buy the AirMix Servo Motor? The dealership in my area wants $216.86 + tax. Seems kind of high to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to pull mine a while back and got stuck as well. The noise seems to have subsided though, since I was in there messing around with it. Could be cause I don't drive the truck as much or run HVAC as much. If you figure out the trick to it LMK.

There's a screw that buried in the back that I can't seem to get to without removing the blower motor assembly. But what I did notice was that the screws that I could get to were just a little loose so I tightened them up. Don't know if that's going to do the trick but we'll see. If I discover anything else, I'll definitely post it here. Also, I anyone has any ideas that would help; please let me know.

Thanks for the info. I'll go to Harbor Freight and take a look. I guess part of the problem is that I can't even feel where the screw is. Were you able to remove and replace the servo motor without removing the blower motor?

Yep. There are two screw. IIRC, the easiest to access was on the front bottom. The difficult to reach was at the back top. I recorded a video w my smartphone so I could see where it was. Good luck.

I have a clicking noise also... But I believe it is whatever switches my fans from top feet windshield... If I cycle through those options the clicking goes away.
