READ!! Toyota wanted to buy mine back!

Toyota sent me a letter in the mail the other day saying that they wanted to buy my T4R back because you could not order in 2003 a limited v8 in natural white with the XREAS, air suspension from the sport edition, and navigation system. If you tried to it would block off the different options, they told me they wanted to purchase the car back because it was a rare combination.... Do u think my T4R is rare?

I received almost the same exact letter from Mazda a couple of weeks ago for my Wife's Speed3. I think it's just a gimmick to get you into the showroom to try and sell you something.

Yea but you can't order that color combination, I looked everywhere for one and can't find it..... Look on autotrader, or any other website that sells cars and put in 2003 white with grey leather, and try to find this exact package that is on my T4R if you do then thanks, I can't find any, cause I wanted to get another one the same and mod it

They basically told me there was a high demand for the 4th gen 4runner and they're offering over book value. It's for an SR5 that's gray on gray...

Yours is rare though.

I have the exact same setup just in black. I think its a gimmick. FYI, the rear air suspension equipped vehicles all come with xreas.

Same thing with me, they sent 6 letters since I purchased mine last 2008. they are offering me to lower my monthly payment, with 1.9% financing for 60 months with a trade in value of $38,620. i think this is just a gimmick. i had a good deal with my t4r with zero financing for 60 months, 3500 below msrp when i bought it. i will keep my t4r forever. thanks toyota.

Its the lack of availability of new cars due to the slowed production. Dealerships are shifting their focus to used cars to make up the difference. Here at lexus we are getting 6 new cars a month down from 35. We've tripled the amount of used cars were selling.

Back in Nova Scotia my local Toyota dealership said over some chit-chat when I was in talking about new Runners that they have an almost impossible time getting Echos in, as they are in high demand used.

How much did they offer you for it? If they didn't make an offer, how are you supposed to go about obtaining one? What do you think the Toyota Corporation wants to do with your 4runner? These are some honest questions for you to answer/ponder.
