I'm finally ready to buy my 2005 4Runner Sport Ed. V6 2wd. I went to my local dealer today, and here is the price breakdown. The price (before misc. fees) seems pretty good to me. But the fees are ridiculous! Does anyone know the truth behind these fees?

$1681 in fees just seems obsurd. The dealer is special ordering this vehicle for me (if I do in fact buy) and it should take a few weeks to get here.

Please leave responses ASAP. I plan on going back tomorrow afternoon, after stopping by another dealer to see what they can offer....

Go ahead a pay a little bit more for 4wd, and a V8 even if you don't use either the two are a good investment. To this day I still kick myself for not getting a 4wd. As far as the misc. fees I would not pay them, if the stealer does not want to remove them, I would walk.
