Real World MPG with 5th Gen?

2018 Limited 2WD w/3rd Row. Cant break 15.9 in the city and I do not have a lead foot and keep it in Eco 75% of the time.

What speed are you guys driving at on the highway to get 17+ mpg?

I get 20+ heavily loaded at slower highway speeds (mostly stock, except the loads), but in faster/tighter traffic (N. Texas and Dallas areas) I get 18-19 at around 80mph.

More data for the grinder. Since picking up fuelly, averaging 18.6 in my stock 5th Gen LE.

I routinely get 17.7 in daily driving (some interstate, but mostly dropping the kids off at school).

Worst I got was 17.2 burning down I-20 (through Dallas) fully loaded.

Best I got was 20.1 burning 85 on Colorado highways, fully loaded.

Early results in swapping out the 20" Geolanders for 17" p-metric AT3s has bumped my in-town driving down about 1/2 mpg from 17.7 to 17.2

Checking in again... I avg 17mpg driving like a snail a lot of city driving. I have gobi rack with 40" light bar and a 2.5" lift rolling with 265/70/17 AT tires. I need to get a fuel efficient car, looking to pick a prius sometime this year.

If it is winter with temperatures 0°c to -35°c (32°f to -31°f) running stock trail wheels with 265/70/17 Studded winter tires (4ply)

Mostly rural highway in my area, but the dash says 22.6 with 325 miles on the clock. Pretty surprised about 22. My 4.7 Tundra gets 16 on the same roads. I imagine I'll get over 20 in my area. I just signed up to fuely and filled up, so I'll start actual MPG now.

I just Bombed the back roads to Vegas (death in the family) in my 16 Chevy Express 4.8-2500 with 1000lbs of equipment in it and got 17.5 MPG at 70 to 80 and hills. I did this exact trip in the 16 4runner with 3 people and got 16 mpg.........I just don't get it. On paper the 4.0 should do better.

After 6 fill ups I'm averaging 20.3 with a best tankful of 23.0. I'm tracking all fill ups on Fuelly. That best one was all interstate at 70 - 75. The dash readout is usually within a couple tenths of actual mileage. I'm extremely happy especially since that's mostly mountain driving.

2016 TE with stock tires, 0 mods and only 12000 miles because the 01 refuses to die with over 300000 on the clock. The dash computer just jumped to 19.8 but when I calculate mpg at fill up, it is usually 20.something.

2018, stock.
Highway miles were 18.5 the other day, at a steady 75 mph.
Best I've seen was just over 19, computer seems to run pretty close to hand calculated.
I've considered trying a tank or "real" gas instead of E10.

13.6 on the highway on my last road trip with bikes hanging off the back, roof rack and everything else weighing it down averaging 80mph... It's a Toyota, not a Prius.

Day to Day commute is not better or worse, after 13k miles with my setup that's just the cost of having everything I want in a rig at my fingertips.
