Real World MPG with 5th Gen?

reset my MPG today before I did my almost entirely highway morning commute. stock 2019 TRD OR, 450 miles on the odo, varying speed highway commute (about half slow moving bumper to bumper, about half around 60 or so), 30 min commute, 20.8 mpg. Leaving the MPG tally running for a week of mixed city and highway driving, getting 16.5 max.

Yep. Colder air is more dense, which is great for power, but bad for gas mileage.
Also, a lot of areas in the US switch to an oxygenated "winter" blend of gasoline.
Texas generally sells conventional and Minnesota sells oxygenated.

The vapor pressure varies by month, region, and octane. In frigid temperatures, higher-volatility fuel is essential and does not cause the smog effect it would in the summer. Using low-RVP fuel is a nonstarter in freezing weather; the engine won’t turn over or might misfire.
Hey all, new member here with 2019 SR5 Premium. I read through this thread before making my purchase fully expecting less then average MPG's. But I was pleasantly surprised that after my first full tank ~400 miles on 18.3 gallons, I averaged 21.7 mpg's hand calculated.
That's commuting about 65 miles a day 75% highway. On my second week based on the gas gauge and current miles, i'm averaging the same. I do drive sort of like a grandpa though.

17 average in the winter, a bit less in the summer. Super consistent and always 87.

I'm trending for a record tank. Computer is showing 23.4 MPG with about 100 mile range left according to the computer. My average over 37,330 miles is 20.7 MPG. I track it all on Fuelly.com 2015 4x4 Limited.

stock tires, gobi rack, sliders, I am heavy footed and do 80-85mph on the highway I get 16-17 which sucks bc i'm about to put ko2's on
Hand calculated or on your dash computer? Also, my ‘19 TRDP only got 17.0 in the summer. Last 2 fill ups have been 16.2 with the Midwest winter mix gas. I am a very casual driver and try to keep the “eco” light on.

Both actually. Using the Fuelly app to keep track of it outside the dash computer. Over last 2 fill ups according to Fuelly I got 15.3 mpg.

2019 TRD ORP KDSS. all stock so far. have about 900 miles on it. started out getting 16.1 in mixed driving. Now getting 18.4 consistently. about half slow/busy traffic highway commuting, and half neighborhood errands.
2013 TE, 102K miles about 20mpg -21mph. just did 150mile trip into the mountains. 30miles hwy speed to get to mountains, 60 miles of 10-30 mph forest service roads up and down the mountain range and 60miles on hwy to get home the long way, 21.5 mph. lifted 2", stock size dynapro tires, winch and winch bumper plate.
