Rear LCA bolts torque and grease information

I am getting ready to install skids on the rear LCA mounts of my 15 TEP, front and rear. Was looking for the torque specs for those bolts and a suggestion on what type of grease I should use on them.

Any pointers or suggestions for working on these bolts or things to watch out for?

Searched the forums but all I could find was specs torque for the front LCA and the rear shocks.

I didn't know what they were either and I have installed skids there. I just tightened them down real tight. Whoever you got the skids from gave you a new bolt and nut anyway, so it would be different from stock.

the repair manual makes no mention of greasing it. basically just says:
1) remove wheel
2) disco parking brake cable assembly (about midway up the arm - probably not necessary for just the skid install)
3) remove lower control arm bolt/nut

on the reverse re-installation the manual says to tighten bolts, stabilize suspension back on ground, and then torque to spec.
same deal left and right sides
haven't done it myself, but hope that helps!

Man I need to find that complete shop manual pdf!

I wonder if the 96 ft-lb also applies to the upper rears and panhard bar?

I'm getting ready to upgrade them all with Califab components and lower mount skids in the coming days.

A little Anti-seize on the shank of the bolt, and some locktight on the threads. Thoughts?

the 96 ft-lbf applies to the both ends on the rear LCA and also for both ends of the lateral control rod (panhard bar). for the rear upper arms themselves it is 59 ft-lbf for both ends.

The new nuts that came with the skids have nylon inserts. Think there is any issue using blue Loctite with the nylock nuts?

I've been using locktight on off road race cars with and without nylock nuts for over ten years with out any issues, but that's just me.
