Rear License Plate Screw?

Just picked up a '21 and one front screw was already rusted when I picked it up.
They told me they would get me some, but Toyota dealers are useless.

(First time I am ever using a front plate in a front plate state as they already installed the mount)

Anywho, I picked up some 316 black oxide coated stainless and titanium bolts for the plates and a few jars of Copaslip Molyslip for plate bolts and to go over some bolts on the underside as well.
An ounce of prevention...

make sure to pull and apply antisieze to all your skid plate blolts too. In fact, anytime I remove a bolt or screw on the exterior of my 4R now, I have my jar of antisieze handy.

Make sure what ever screw you use its the correct length or it will scratch the rear glass.

Both my screws were rusted in place and the heads snapped off when I finally removed my CO license plates.

My two cents, FWIW: When you replace your hardware use 316 SST (A4) and not 18-8 (A2) SST especially if you're in the rust belt. The 316 will hold up a little better. Might want to take the extra step and use safety torx head screws for anti-theft. Pro tip- dip the first few threads of the screw in grease before installing them. This will help with the rust and also any galling issues.

Been doing that since I bought my '02.
Maybe once a year, year-and-a-half though.
