Does this look okay or is it too tight?

Too tight. 2 rules of thumb. Rubber should not squeeze out past the metal washer. And the instructions say three threads showing.

I have poly ones, and tightened mine down with some torque, and show the same as yours.

I'm confused, I don't know if I have poly ones but it is three threads but, the bushing is slightly past the washer. Should I loosen a tad then?
