Rear Suspension Knock

Ever since a rough little trip up a rocky trail a couple of months ago, I've noticed a knock coming from the rear suspension. It only happens when there is a sudden change in lateral load, shifting the weight from one side to the other in the rear. Diagonal speed bumps and quick directional changes are the most often cause. I've checked that everything in the cargo area is secure, so I'm certain it's suspension related.

My assumption is that it's the Panhard rod bushings, but I'm not positive. Does anybody have any experience with a similar problem? Is there a bushing replacement kit out there?

check your exhaust heat shield attached to the floor of the truck. the aluminum may have rusted out and is hanging there. there's 4 bolts there. the fix is to use a larger washer to secure it back.
