i use my 1st gen to haul my dirt bikes on a hitch carrier which adds about 350 lbs off the hitch (google dirt bike hitch carrier for pics). while normally fine, the back end sags with the bikes even though i turn the rancho adjustables all the way up. i'm thinking of adding some airbags i can air up when i have the bikes on and deflate when not. however, i cant find any manufacturer that lists the 1st gen as an option (i have an 87) any thoughts on how to provide some rear lift when under load? has anyone modded airbags to fit?
