rear window black weather strip

The piece along the passenger side does not reach the bottom of the window anymore. The black piece curves about an inch before it should. Can you replace just one piece or is it wise to replace the whole thing?

If you have one going, I'd replace all four plus the rear hatch.
I've replaced all of mine and it takes a couple of minutes for each window. The only tool is an allen key and they run less than $20 each.

Just try sliding that piece back into place.
tried that, it then pulls down and detaches from the top right corner.

Spendy part, but it is better then getting rust..Thanks that was the part I thought it was, just need verification. I ordered that and the bottom strip, might as well replace the entire back area..

I just wanted confirmation that the part identified does not include the bottom section (at least by looking at the picture, that is my assumption). I was confused by some earlier posts indicating it was the only part required to replace the whole rubber seal around the rear window.
What is the part number for the bottom section? I need to order that as well.

Replaced the bottom weather seal lift gate
Just replace the bottom weather seal of the lift gate window. The part was cheap, $28 and replacement only took 5 -10 minutes. My old weather strip dried and was falling apart. Every time it rain water goes in the door and leaked out the holes at the bottom of the lift gate.
During the winter the lift gate would freeze and would not open. Now that it's fix, less water would go in the door.

I saw this thread on the links seem to be outdated. I need to replace the whole bottom weather strip seal....i have a 2007 Runner.....does anyone have a more recent web site to recommemd...I couldnt find a thread on 07 runner for this topic. Thanks in advance.

Hi....i saw your post for your 08 Runner on the rear weatherstrip replacement. Can you share the site you used to get your parts. I have to replace the whole bottom strip and the outer seal...i had rust in door so the went in and replaced it but tore up the bottom seal and strip. Thanks for any help or info.
