I have to replace my cluster because the odometer isn't working properly. Is there a company that can make the replacement cluster reflect my current mileage? I'm at 293k and the replacement is at 254k.

I respect your attempts to do it right, but do you really think anyone will own your vehicle after you? I think potential buyers are the only ones that will care about something like that.
I can only hope that my truck makes it to 293k miles, and if it does, I plan to keep it until it is absolutely worthless to someone other than myself. If I was in your shoes I would replace the cluster, call it a day, and keep track of the ACTUAL mileage myself...but I don't plan to sell my truck...unless I sell it to a wrecker or the insurance company pays me out for it...

Know what you mean, I replaced the odo/trip odo mechanism because of a broken part of the trip odo which prevented the odo from working. The 'new' one had 77,xxx miles, I had 261,xxx miles. The two parts separate so I replaced the trip odo and kept my mileage.
Looked like I could have used the auger on the 77,xxx mile one to change it, but that would have taken a bajillion years! I didn't dig further because of the easy swap.
I should be seeing 300,000 some time next year, instead of not even 100,000.

My odometer and trip odo stopped working because of a break in the frame for the trip reset. It wasn't a real obvious thing. I don't know what's wrong with yours but if the odo part isn't broken it can be moved to the new one.
