Remote start bypass?

Hey you guys, i have a 2004 Toyota 4runner v8, i wanted a Viper remote start system installed. My question is, i know the 4runner's need a bypass since our keys send out certain signals to let us start the car, is there a bypass system i can buy that is relatively inexpensive so that i won't have to give up a spare key? Has anyone used that? I only have 2 keys in total, and there is no way i'm going to only walk around with one key for my 4runner! Any help/input would be appreciated! Thanks!

From what I was told by the geek guy at best buy regarding this same issue (I was hesitant about buying a viper because of this added expense). He said that they now have a way of "bypassing" that part and they do NOT need a spare key so it will work.
.....morale of the story, if you go to BB, you won't need to give up your spare.

dont go to a best buy for alarms, go to a private alarm audio shop, way better support. also on the bypass i think they use a xk05 something like that. i had a problem on my end, so i just use the key.

there are a couple that will work. the XK05 is one the PKALL will also work. but the XK05 has to be flashed, I would recommend that you take it to a reputable shop to have the remote start installed and the XK05 flashed with the proper firmware. If you are going to attempt it yourself the I would probably get the PKALL that one doesn't need to be flashed, but a caveat that module can only be programmed one time.
