Remove Zero Point Calibration via OBD

So like the title says, I want to know if anyone knows which procedure or what to do with an OBD tool that removes the zero point calibration for VSC? I know about the mods but I'd rather do it this way. Thanks

If you don't have their proprietary tester then a jumper wire would also do.

Like this:
1. Ensure the shift lever is in
“P” range.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
3. Using SST 09843–18040, repeat a
cycle of short and open between
terminals Ts and CG of DLC3 4 times
or more within 8 seconds. Verify that
the VSC indicator light is lit indicating
the recorded zero point is erased.
4. Turn the ignition switch OFF.

A generic OBD II scanner might be able to do this on some 4runners if you try to communicate using all the protocols(CAN,ISO,etc) for a few times, but I think this is more like a glitch, not a by design behavior.

Hmmmm...So what does this do for the vehicle??? sounds interesting.

All this does is keep VSC disabled constantly. Instead of doing any actual Modding to wires or thr ecu. Plus it can always be put back to normal by simply doing the zero point calibration again.

Why Would you Switch VSC off? any benefits? I`d think that it`s a safety feature better stay on.

It can be for those that want it there. I drive off road a few times a month at a minimum. Keep in mind our VSC simply cuts engine power and brakes to stabilize the vehicle, which is useful, but not if it is against what you want-for instance driving on loose dirt. It really comes down to preference. But since i drive on dirt so much, I don't want VSC cutting my power at all because thats how you get stuck in soft sand.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but why wouldn't you just lock the center differential? This way you'll have VSC off and have less slip by locking 50/50 power.

Just for the times I am not in 4 wheel. Its just a preference, I don't ever want VSC cutting my power regardless of circumstance.

isn`t there a button you can switch vsc off on demand.I understand your point, cutting down power on lose dirt or snow can be DANGEROUS and annoying.
