Removing Tail Light Lenses?

I've been thinking about wanting to do a custom set of LED tails on my 4Runner, has anyone ever removed the lens on the taillights? I've searched but couldn't find anything except removing the entire assembly from the truck.

I've seen all of them, those are my choice if I can't get the lens off of mine.

I'd imagine its somewhat the same as baking headlights in the oven.

Pre heat the oven to 250, put them in for about 12 minutes. You'll need several flathead screwdrivers after you take them off to gently pry the lenses off. Just went through it a few months ago Doing my projector retrofit.
