replacing bulbs behind climate control?

So what all do these work in and what sizes do I need?

Been doing mine all week as my Ebay LED's come in. This is for the Sport. Limited might need one more bulb for the HVAC.

The cliff notes:

Neo4 / T4 Neo Wedge
*2x for LCD screen. You need the low power 6v ones as the 12v LED's won't power on. Or do the 12v mod/wiring. Or order from the other site in the previous comments.
*1x for 4x4 switch. I had to grind the sides of the T4 to slide into bulb hole.

Neo3 / T3 Neo Wedge
Everything else.
*1 for each HVAC back light control (3x). The indicator tips are soldered onto the board. That's a different process.
*1x rear defrost
*1x recirc
*1x reset/mode on clock
*1x rear window switch
*1x for DAC switch
*1x for diff lock switch
*1x for hazard? I left mine alone.

T5 LED
*1x center console shift indicator
*1x glove box
*1x cup holder (someone indicated they needed 2x bulbs?)

I am Not trying to be a smrta$$ with this comment at all, but....
Have you tried taking the new bulbs out, rotating them 180 degrees and re-installing them? LEDs by their nature are polarity sensitive.

No samrta$$ taken, but yes, I tried that first then tried switching the LEDs between sockets, no dice.

How does your screen look and what worked for you? That seems to be the biggest hitch. I don't want to have any hot spots or anything. Thanks for the help!

Ok folks, I am confused.
Superbright neo's work or do not work? As in do they illuminate or not. Brightness is subjective.
I am having a hard time understanding why one 12v led would illuminate and another 12v led would not illuminate.

Polarity.
Flip them around and they should light up

See my post #43. I have since finished off and changed over the rear window and 4x4 switches too. There are hot spots where the bulb points in the switches. Not too bad, but I am running generic cheap Ebay LEDs. My eyes have gotten used to it in 2 days. The most visible hot spotting for me is the 4x4 dial.

For the most part, if the LED isn't flipping on, switch it around 180* ... but for the LCD screen, most have reported that it doesn't pull a full 12 volts so it's too weak to power on the LED's. Mine won't power on as well, but in the other thread, other's have found ways around it.

Everyone should really spend a day and read all the info in the other DIY INTERIOR LED thread. I think its almost up to 100 pages, but the discussion is up to date and someone has found some T4 bulbs that work for the LCD screen.

The third section or set down is the 6v.

2007 T4R Climate Control Backlights - Specifics?

2007 T4R Climate Control Backlights - Specifics?
I am attempting to specifically identify LED replacements for the OEM incandescent bulbs in the climate control panel in a 2007 Toyota 4Runner SR5. Attached photo reflects those OEM bulbs and bulb numbers.

I've seen in other posts that the Samsung 5630(t4); 5630(t3); and 5628(t3) bulbs will work but details are lacking on specific sources and specifically which of these bulbs replace which of the OEM incandescent bulbs.

Also, when trying to identify LEDs, I don't see addressed anywhere the varying height/length of the bulbs.

Finally, I have scoured internet sources and the 5628 is not to be found anywhere. Can someone identify where the 5628 can be purchased? Or is this supposed to be 3528 instead?

In summary, I just need very specific LED identities (item or part #) and sources for each of the bulbs in the climate control panel:

90010-09015
90010-09016
90010-09017
90010-09018
90010-09019

Can someone assist with this detail? Much thanks!
