I need info as to go about replacing the power steering fluid in my 2000 4Runner Limited, 3.4L. I'm not sure where or how to drain the fluid as I'm not familiar with the hydraulic layout for it. I do know that with 250K miles on it, the fluid in the reservoir is quite black and needs to be replaced. If anyone can tell me where the tap or whatever is to drain the system and any tips to bleed it once it's been refilled, I would be very much grateful. Schematics/drawings or procedural info beside the obvious would also be quite welcome. Thank you to everyone in advance!

Are you serious?? I think you should forfeit your man card for even saying this!! I wouldn't trust Sears to work on my lawn mower...at least our Sears! They're worthless!

The Sears in Burbank must be one special place.
Sadly, some things sold by Sears in the past were well made (Craftsman professional tools, Kenmore freezer), are even 25+ years old but still work well. I have even been inside two prefabbed houses in Illinois one could buy out of the Sears catalog back in the 20s and 30s.
The only thing I would consider today is their Platinum battery. If Sears had tires I wanted on sale, I would take the tires elsewhere to be mounted and balanced.
As far as the PF change, try 02SE's method. :rockon:
