Resonator question?

Hey guys, i got a flowmaster 50 series muffler on my v8 4runner and i was thinking of taking my resonator off to get a little more roar from it, but i wanted to know how much louder it'll actually get?

You could have probably went with the 40 series and been happy.

I don't think taking off the resenator will really make it deeper.

i just recently did this mod to my s/e it still has the stock exhaust i just cut the resonator off and put a 45 on it with a tip looks a million times better and does actually have alil more growl to it for a stock system. i always noticed a difference in sound whenever i use to add or remove the resonators on my integra so i'd have to say you will notice a difference. where as i would add the resonator to get rid of some of the raspyness in the exhaust removing it should you will definitely notice a sound increase.

i cut off my muffler and resonator, then got a dump pipe right in front of the rear axle. i have to say, with that and my k&n intake, i feel like ive got the loidest v8 4runner around. it is LOUD. not to mention its deep and throaty and it just sounds damn good
