Rest in Peace SeattleMike

I was new on here and didn't know Mike so well but we had talked a few times about Tires. I was thinking of him the other day as I finally got my Duratracs installed. I love the new tires, thanks for the advice Mike!

RIP.
 
I'm glad to see we can keep the memory of such a great guy alive...he crosses my mind, and often when I scroll through my phone contacts, I get to see his smiling face in healthier times....and it truly serves a purpose..

It reminds me of how frail and important life is, and how quick it can all change and disappear. Mike shared with many of us, with courage and dignity, how to face perilous times, and to deal with it head on. He rarely missed a chance to help someone.

Never forget, or miss the opportunity, to tell someone how much they mean to you..best wishes always to Mike's family

Brock shared this story with me as it was happening, it really messed him up for awhile. It is really nice to see a group of guys that only know each other from their (weird) love for trucks come together as if they were friends for years. Rest in peace, and God be with your family and wife.
 
Turning a few wrenches and putting down some beers and thought of you tonight. Headed home to pay my respects to my uncle we just lost to a ten year fight with cancer tomorrow myself. Life works in strange ways. If I have learned anything from these situations, it is to never take for granted any day we are given. Rest in Peace buddy!
 
Wow...I haven't been on the forum for a while and just came back today and saw this. I never knew Mike but loved reading his posts here and the info he gave too. RIP.
 
Today was Mike's first day on the cruise ship last year. I remember him talking to us before he left, reminding us what is important in our lives. Something that we take for granted until something happens such as this. I pray that peace has been found by his family, and by his wife that stood by his side through everything.

I think that we should get something together to send to her this year from all of us at t4r.org. Java, are you still in touch?
 
Merry Christmas Michael....lights on the new GO BI in your memory ...for all us old kids that refuse to grow up!

A year ago today we lost our friend SeattleMike. Most of us didn't know him personally, myself included, but he was well respected on this forum and helped a lot of members on here. I pray his family is doing well. Rest in peace SeattleMike.

I don't know if you made it there or not. For those unfamiliar with the area, it has a very nice view of the waters of Puget Sound. I had family that lived a few blocks from that intersection.
 
Some say that you die twice. Once when your breathe leaves your body for the last time and when the last person you knew utters your name for the last time.

Peace be with you Mike and your Wife! As we age death becomes an all to familiar companion and it never gets easier.
 
With no disrespect to Mike it has come time to un-stick this thread. We miss him and wish all the best to his family. If you think of Mike this thread can always be bumped to the top.

As another member said to me "...as 'internet buds'....we did Mike proud" and I couldn't agree more.
