Sorry I missed the PM conversation but agree. However as a modest suggestions how about changing out his 'Senior Member' title to something like 'RIP' or 'In Memoriam'

Thanks Jesse for getting that sticky up there....and a big thanks for all the nice words, and people who so kindly remembered Mike here the past two years.

This thread, I feel, stands for a few things.

It certainly stands for a life cut short, way to quickly....it also helps to remind us of how a stranger sometimes needs a hand, guidance or help, and we can change that.....but I guess what it meant most to me, was how we reached out to one another in a time of sadness, and were able to come together. People form varied backgrounds and locations, folks of different age groups, tied together by their love of a vehicle. I'm still extremely grateful for the relationships we were able to form, and continue to enjoy, from just a "truck forum".


and I think that's the way SeattleMike would have wanted too...

Unfortunately I came into the 5th Gen forum after SeattleMike times, so I was never able to "meet" him. But, I would be lying if I said I didn't shed a tear when I read his tragic story. I have seen it posted time and time again, but T4R.org is comprised of some of the best people I have ever seen on any forum. It is no surprise to me that everyone was able to come together for such an epic tribute to SeattleMike, his family, and his friends. This is a constant reminder for everyone to live everyday as if it were your last.

I re-read one of Mike's posts today. So just doing the "raising the glass in thanks" toast to Mike. And bumping up this well deserved thread to keep his memory at the top. Someone else can do the same again in 8 months. Thanks Mike. :beer:
