Rhino Rack Steel Mesh Platform For 4th Gen

I have a question for all the 4th gen owners, and that is if any of you currently have the Rhino Rack Steel Mesh Platform on the roof of your rigs? I have narrowed the roof racks and platforms down to the Rhino Mesh Platform since it's not a basket and will give me the ability to store or haul a variety of things on my roof. Does this Rhino Mesh Platform lay flat since the crossbars on the 4th gen are not flat but slightly raised and are you guys happy with this choice? I also am interested in this one because it is affordable.

I have the large and it fits across my bars about perfectly. Yes, the factory cross bars do curve up slightly in the center, but when you crank down on the Rhino Rack mounts, the mesh conforms the the curve and settles down on the side bars nicely.
I'm very happy with it and the price. I have a 20" light bar on the front, a set of Thule bars across it with a shovel mount and awning and a high lift across the back. With all that, the rack still fits fuel, firewood and a solar shower with room to spare for several days off-road.
Yes, you get some surface rust periodically, but it's nothing that a little Rustoleum can't fix.
Also, you'll get a little wind howl from the mesh. Simply cover the front section of mesh back to the front factory cross bar with some thin material (I used Sintra from some old graphics I had at work) and it'll quiet right down.
I'll see if I have any good photos of the rack on my 4Runner.

Thanks for sharing your experience and thoughts about this Rhino Platform. The crossbars were my main concern about the platform not laying flat, but now that I have heard from someone who has this and it's working for you I'm convinced and will be purchasing one in the near future.
