**Rickashay's Wheeling Pics Thread**

Seeing as how I am frequently going out on trail runs, taking lots of photos, and sharing my adventures over here at T4R.org, I thought I would just start a thread where I can post all of my photos. This will help do my part in keeping the forum tidy instead of starting a new thread every trip I go on. I posted over in the offroad section before, but it seems there is no traction over there and no one even looks there. So here it goes....

May Long Weekend - 2012

I was at it again this weekend. Camped for two nights and spent 3 days on the trail. It was awesome. The first night was a little cold and we saw temps of -5C (23F for you Southerners). It was pretty chilly but sleeping in the truck helps as your completely out of the wind and off the ground. We had a mix of weather: seeing rain, heavy clouds, and some clear skies. Being this early in the season, we ran into a ton of mud and some snow. It was nice to try the MTZ's out and so far, I am VERY happy with there performance. I can already notice their prowess over the KM2's in the snow. I guess the only real downfall to the weekend is that A) I need new inner tie-rods even though I replaced them last fall B) My locker has stopped working - the light just flashes and won't engage C) I hit a fallen tree and caused some minor damage to my front passenger fender - a nice baseball sized dent:ybrick:

Enough of the chatter that belongs in my build thread, here's what you want to see:

A pretty scary climb - if you had to back down and lost control, you would go straight off the edge of the mountain.

Where in Alberta was this? I take it you live in Calgary somewhere? This seems like it would be worth the drive out there.

Good call on the "Wheeling Pics" thread. You definitely get out enough to warrant a thread dedicated to pics & trip reports.

I would love to take that ride w/you guys. If only Canada wasn't so far from New Mexico! Those views easily rival the views in CO, which I have always thought were some of the best I've seen.

Good stuff man, keep it coming. I've got a few ideas for you on the locker, but I'll save it for your build.

Crowsnest Pass AB. I am from Lethbridge but a few of the trucks in the photos came down from Calgary. And yes, it is worth the drive!!

Thanks Nick! If your ever up my way for whatever reason, let me know!

I approve. You may continue...

lol, Thanks Jared.

Absolutely gorgeous views up there. Great pics ric!

Thanks Rip! I'm still drooling over your Moab trip!

Very jealous of your proximity to the mountains! Great pics!

A perfect place to stop on your way back from picking up your Landcruiser, I think?! I'm in for a run if you are!

good looking dog

boxer mix? looks thicker maybe has some bullmastiff?

these pictures make me want to start jumping out of my car and shooting more photos.

Do it! Photos speak more than 1000 words IMO.

You nailed it... my dog is mostly Boxer/Mastiff but he has a tiny bit of Pitbull in him too.

With all do respect, n' remember, I am saying with all do respect. That aint worth a velvet painting of a whale and a dolphin gettin it on!

I HATE this part of Florida! Great shots and happy trails man!

EPIC.

Fantastic photos, composition, and locations. You've captured all that is right about our hobby and thank you for sharing your experiences with us.

Great thread, great pictures. My only request: original size picture (or at least larger) available at Flickr. I would desktop several of these if they were large enough for me to crop them to 1440x900.

Thanks for the compliments everyone, I really appreciate the feedback! It's sweet that people are using them for wallpapers, I'm honored! haha

If there is any you want specifically, just say the image code below and I can upload the original size file to flickr.
