I would cal 'AK' before driving by. I think Friday they close early so they can do trail work at Chaos Offroad Park.

Initial test fit - can't lower the tail gate. Hmmmm... What to do....

Another quick update.

Lots of upgrades coming in the next two weeks to The Honey Badger. So far this is what's been done...

1. Bilsteins replaced the (cough cough) awesome Rough Country Shocks.

Rear...

Front...

2. OME Torsion Bars replaced the worn out OEM ones. Thanks again for the great deal [MENTION=75090]Footofgod[/MENTION]!

3. Got rid of the junk Rough Country rear upper/lower control arms, and went with custom made Chaos Control Arms (BEEFY!).

As you can see in the following picture - something's missing. I'll update when the goodies are installed.

I wish. However some more goodies arrived today.

Replacement for my beat to hell passenger door. Was able to find a color match with this one! YEAH!

More parts just came in today!

Chrome-Moly rear axles.

ADDCO Sway Bar (Rear) 7/8" - direct OEM replacement, and a lot tougher than the stock one I snapped.

In case you should want to upgrade - 464 is the type for 1st and 2nd Gens - Summit Racing has the best price, and free shipping!

Great pics - great thread. I'm glad you pulled through the accident, i came very close to going over someone's hood at 6am once....i was tucked behind a van in the rain, going to work, car pulled out to get behind the van and didn't see me. I dodged the front bumper by inches, flipped a few fingers w/ hands in air and sold the bike later that month. Glad you're still around & you didn't get hurt worst than u did !!!

Glad you dodged. I still miss my Goldwing though. However having a lot of fun withe my 4Runner. Best of luck with your build. Gonna keep watch on how it goes.

4.88 gears, and ARB Air Locker - INSTALLED!
Chrome-Moly rear axles - INSTALLED!
Onboard Air (using my Viair air pump) - being installed, and plumbed.

Had to order a set of bushing assemblies for the front diff. The stock ones were - beat to hell, and dry rotted. She should be all buttoned up as soon as they arrive!
