The whistling sound of the SC is sweet..

I have driven both my brothers SC'd 4runner's.......Power is always on standby, and when you need it, man it delivers.....and fast.

Looks like you have been busy. I am totally jealous. Congrats man, you now have an even more awesome 4Runner than before, possibly my favorite.

And because the First page needed an updated picture..

You may notice I added another badge on the rear hatch, that would be a "Supercharged" Badge.

I bought them here:SFX Performance Set Of Two Supercharged Badges Chrome Emblems - All Chrome RACINGSUPERBADGE-X2
-I bought these ones from this site because they are metal, unlike the eBay plastic ones. Also, they are cutouts instead of raised letters on a rectangular piece.
-I only used one of the two, so if anyone wants the other, you can have it for the cost of an envelope.


I was rummaging through one of my old Model building kits and found a small can of "Black Pearl" Spray paint.. So I black pearled' the Supercharged badge!

Thanks! The engine sounds good and all, but still need to do the exhaust.

This and the rest of the stuff in my sig is it for the year.

Maybe next summer, but if I do it would only be a front and maybe sliders.

I saw the usb for the stereo but I am talkin usb for charging other usb stuff like
phone,camera, kendel ect...
Yea, I would like to take this apart and integrate it into my dash to charge my usb stuff. It seams that everything charges via usb these days and the cigarette lighter charger is obsolete and fugly.

On Sunday, me and a bunch of guys from Tacomaworld went on a little offroad meet. There were 8 trucks, 2 of which were 4runners. The other 4runner had an OME lift and a Shrockworks bumper. I don't think he is on this site though..

Haha, but my ultimate dream is to have an offroader that I can take into the trees, get pinstripes, and not care...

Basically what they did in the bolivia episode of top gear...

Ripcord, awesome build. I would love to add an SC and 7th. Nice to see you just get into it and not *****foot around beforehand. I would be a bit nervous digging in that far, but your write-up makes it seem not actually that hard.

In mine I took one of those 12v cigarrete port doublers that come also with a couple of USB charging ports and mounted/wired it permanently to the dash, the area below the astray location (which is used the CB radio).
