lol, it would probably take me like 3 or more months to get all the same stuff done right now. I've been so busy with other shit I haven't had time to touch my rig. It's been sitting in the garage for over a couple weeks now. Which sucks cus I just got the new wheels and I wanna show 'em off
I've got an event to go to first weekend of June. Will likely be my last offroad trip in Arkansas for a while. Off to Colorado in late July.

I like this build a lot and it hasn't really even started. I can already see myself stealing lots of ideas from you haha.

Glad to see you back. I've got to tell you, the bracket for the fuse block and breakers, that thing is freaking stellar looking.

Congrats on getting back into a 3rd gen! I followed your first thread, and look forward to following this one as well.
I just saw in your first post that you're a suspension engineer with Honda. Thats pretty awesome. Is that for their vehicles, motorcycles, racing proucts? You should design a full set of 3rd gen (stock weight specific) progressive coils for the front and back of our trucks! Something around say, 2" lift that produces an excellent ride for our trucks at stock weight. I (and Im sure a multitude of other members) would pay good money for that. I feel like that's the biggest gap when it comes to suspension options for our third gens. There's plenty out there for 3" plus lifts. Plenty for members running extra weight. The Tundra TRD set-up for front progressive, and Toytec Boss rear progressive coils. But nothing for those of us wanting a slight lift and excellent rode ride quality at stock weight via progressive coils. Hey, you could patent it

From the last updates on your thread, you have a lot of work to do before that trip. New wheels are awesome though! Thunderclouds are few and far between, well decent ones are. Took me 5 months of waiting to get this one.
Thanks Jeremiah. I can't decide, I'm not sure if it was worth it last time. If one comes along cheap though maybe. Getting inspired by everyone I see rebuilding these superchargers.
My dad is currently having his 80 series 6BT swapped and the shop that is doing it is trying to convince me to let them to a 4BT in the 4runner. They say they are working on a swap kit they want to bring to market.
Who knows, maybe if they keep bugging me about it..

Thanks! I am in the full size vehicles side of things, although the motorcycles division is in the same building. Having been behind the scenes on what a kit like that takes to make, I can say I will never attempt to enter that market on my own. Gives me respect for the companies that do, or was it skepticism?

Hey Paul! Thanks for stopping by. There is a shop nearby where I live that you can get a membership to and use the equipment. They have all kinds of metal and woodworking tools, lots of electronics stuff and some computers with various CAD programs. Its a fun place, kind of like a Gym for craftsman.
