Wiring update and fancy new stuff

In preparation for some major upcoming mods, I needed to upgrade the fuse box setup. As much as I liked my last fuse box setup, it was lacking some things.. ignition relay, firewall pass through, and room for switches!
The purpose of the ignition relay is so that the entire fuse box circuit is only active when the truck is on. To prevent these accessories from draining the battery.
I also had a new light bar I needed to install.
Parts/Cost:
$260 - Black Oak LED 20" single row combo pattern LED Light Bar
$103 - OTRATTW Switches
$24 - Firewall fitting (Link: Delphi 22 position connector)
$25 - 12V 100A relay
$20 - Paranoid Fabrication 1-DIN 6-switch plate
$30 - Green 1/4" acrylic
Tools:
-Wiring tools
-Drill w/2" hole saw
-Heat gun
-Tape measure
-Other basic tools
Time:
It was a fairly custom mod, so it took a while. Probably 8 hours total, taking my time.

As I mentioned in the previous post, I have added a host of new switches in preparation for an upcoming mod.
In the next few months I will be getting 4:88 gears and FR+RR ARB air lockers.

that new fuse box and switches are just great. Had a question, when you sprayed your engine down. anything you recommend as protection. is there anything you covered in the engine? i would like to spray mine down and clean it up a bit but worried i would damage something. Thanks, id love to get switches and the fuse box going like yours!

Looks awesome! The wiring and switches look good, I'm a big fan of the bracket/ OTRATTW switches (obviously), and I love that LED bar- it's the perfect size. Also soooo excited for the lockers, hurry up on it!
Also, Plasticare is pretty sweet. The few times I've been there I've found some cool things.

For everyone sending me PMs about the fuse box platforms, they only work with 01-02 4runners as the engine bay is different and can accommodate the box there.
I used 18 gauge wire on most of the switches because of such low current they see.
No, it just prevents the system from ever being overloaded.

Switzerland Trail Photos
Over the weekend, I ran a fun scenic trail with [MENTION=129084]Flemster[/MENTION] and another local 4runner owner on Switzerland trail.
It was a fun trail, its little more than a dirt road in the summer. So the snow adds some enjoyment.
Most of these photos are by Will from Rocky Mountain Photography. (the driver of the blue 4runner)
