RIPP Coil Packs anyone try these?

I saw a YouTube video for replacement coils for the 4Runner by someone out fit I think they are in New York Ripp Coil Pack

This is a link to their sight. They had a lot of comments from Tacoma owners that seemed to indicate they worked not so many from 4Runner owners, I was just wandering if anyone here had tried them and what they thought of them if they had?

you have to run premium fuel... per their site...
"While 87 does work we noted some pre-ignition at lower RPMs while using this grade fuel. 91 rids of the pre-ignition and smooths out the power curve."

preignition is BAD for an engine (aka knock). Your engines knock sensors will retard timing if knock is detected...which in turn reduces performance.

reading between the lines (and they pretty much state that spark is hotter) tells me that with these coils are making your engine more prone to knock. So you have to run premium. Fuel in the combustion chamber is supposed to "burn" smoothly not explode (which is what knock is).

does not sound worth it to me. something is changing drastically to all of the sudden have to worry about knock.
