It's has been a need for a while. Driving to the mountains during rain and snow almost every weekend has been trying. Probably total cost should be about $200. The biggest cost was getting the reservoir fabbed, which was $115 plus the Pro Werks cap ($50). The rest was pretty inexpensive at Home Depot and a good hardware store for a selection of metric bolts and nuts.

The KDSS is great on the road. There are plenty of people that love, me included. Unfortunately, it does limit both up and down travel of the rear suspension enough that it was not worth it. I still have the ability to reinstall, but doubt I ever will.
There are a few that will argue that KDSS will not limit travel, but it really does. The piston only has so much travel and when you lift 3", you burn some of that travel. In stock form, it is a great thing, but for modifying and off-road, I would not choose the KDSS again.

I agree that kdss is great on road. I finally got to test mine out last weekend, and I was a little disappointed with the rear articulation. I wonder why haven't any companies come up with a drop bracket for the kdss.
How does yours ride without the kdss? Obviously I wouldn't expect it to be the same. But how bad is the body roll for daily driving?

There is body roll, but it's not horrible. Obviously you need to get tuned in with the tide and drive accordingly knowing it's not a sports car. I drive to the mountains several weekends a month on a 2 lane road without issues.

Well, after almost 2 years with out a washer bottle reservoir, that drought has ended. Finished fitting up everything and welded all the bolts into place and everything fits and functions once again. That was a long 20k plus miles of dirty windshields.

Finally got around to installing the snorkel that arrived in the beginning of March. Best way to take the edge of, a hoppy IPA before getting started.
Then, tape off the area, break out the sharpie and look at all the holes, especially that large one. Hmmmm, better take another drink ...... or two. Drill the holes with a step bit and a the on to the big one. Used a jig saw with a metal blade and taped the base for protection. The thing cut fast and smooth. A little Dremmel action and polish off the beer and crack another.
Everything went fair smooth and wrapped up in about 3.5 hours.

There's a few mods I would like to do, but just cannot justify them, LT being the big one. Plus I still love primitive camping with just the essentials. Nothing like looking at the stars as your shelter.

Headed out to Flagstaff and Sedona this past weekend to meet up with some friends and go to Overland Expo West. Walked around the show for a bit and met up with a couple T4R members, Jhalko and Ducmonsta. I could only handle so much, so one the way back to Sedona, I decided to take the scenic route. There were some awesome views overlooking Sedona.

Also, I could not go all the way to Arizona and not get in a little wheeling. There is a trail on the South side of Sedona called Broken Arrow. It is not a very long trail and not too difficult, but fun none the less and again, some awesome views.
