I bought the supersliders from Rocky road outfitters. The build and finish is top quality. The directions are for shit though. If you have a trd pro follow the trail trim instructions. You will not need the spacers they give you for the fuel line. They went on quick and easy enough. They tell you the bottom hole in the middle bracket is no longer threaded on 15-16 year models. They also say it is not needed. They seem solid as hell. I'm not worried about it.

They are so close to the bottom of the door . It might help a little , but if you really need a big step up . It's not gonna work.

I've actually got these sliders right now. Been trying to figure out where they came from since I bought the truck with them on already.

My only concern with them is they flex a bit and end up resting against the pinch weld under the body. I don't expect to slam the weight of the truck against them, but I'm also kind of new to the whole slider deal.

They are real- I used them last year to slide over a huuuuge boulder. The entire right side of the truck was resting on the slider until the rear tire came into contact with the rock.
Touch -up paint and good as new!

They're real, and they're spectacular!
Seriously, though, they bolt to the frame and are pretty stout. They sit just below the body and don't stick out far, but I've slammed down on them hard and they've done their job.

Hey guys, sorry to jump onto a 5th gen thread, but...
I have rocky road supersliders for my 4th gen. I have had them a little under a year. I attempted to install them and they went on fine, but the doors wouldn't open. We tried to re-install them, switch sides, etc, and they still hit the doors. Rocky road customer service basically just said that I was going to have to modify them if they didn't fit. I attempted to get a refund (as I knew if I cut them up they wouldn't honor the warranty), but they just gave me the run around for months until I finally gave up. The sliders are now a $500 paper weight in my garage. I wish I had gone with Shrock works or something.
I'm glad it appears they fit now.
Edit: Rocky road also accused me of not knowing how to install these (even though my buddy who is a mechanical engineer was my "assistant."

I hear the grip tape is nice, but every time you get out with shorts you're gonna tear your leg up.

No. They don't stick out far enough. Even with grip tape you're gonna be balancing on your tip toes to use them as steps. Shrockworks make some slider steps that would be much better for this purpose.
Also, grip tape will tear your legs up and start peeling off and look like ass.

Do you have pics of the installed product? I may be willing to take them off your hands for the right price. At least that way you can recoup some $, and I won't feel as bad cutting them up! Just a thought...thanks!

Not to deter you from these since I'm sure they're a good slider, but the Shrockworks step sliders come more straight out and may be a little better of a step for her.
