roll cage safe for daily driving?

i was knocking on the damn a pillars and they hard as a rock lol, i know steel is probably alot harder, but i honestly dont drive very fast in the 4runner like a race car or something...

How safe or unsafe is it to run a roll cage with passengers?

im sure this has been covered, but i searched and didnt come up with much info

Tell 'em to put their dang seat belts on. A well designed cage shouldn't have bars anywhere they could be struck by a head during a rollover, assuming that belts/restraints are being worn.

Cover it in pipe foam or pool noodles.

Cages are expensive, heavy and can cramp the already small space in a 4runner.

But could save your life in a roll over...

That looks like an older All Pro kit. And it needs more triangulation... :flipoff:

The one you bought or the 4xI one? The 4xI one will fit perfect, but if you ever want to take your dash out, youll have to cut that bar out.

The one you bought should be fine. But after one roll over, it will have to be replaced.
