Rollover accident-mod time!

So I picked up another toy last night... A 99 Limited.
It was coming down cloudcroft in rain when he decided to take a take a short cut down the mtn and he rolled it! I picked it up at the tow place and with a little creativity and help from a friend, I was able to drive it to work! OMG it smoked for over a hr from all the oil that seeped thru the engine, but hell, it drives pretty straight for a rolled truck! I bought it for parts originally, but idk, I might just start cutting into it and making it a truck to wheel in! What do you guys think? Its got 212k mi on it, and it has the factory E locker.


Any ideas? I was thinking about cutting off the top and caging it. (or finding somebody to help as I'm pretty skill-less and time limited LOL) or just cutting off the back and bobbing it.

hmm.

remove junk behind front doors and create a cab like thing behind them. go canvas top for the rest of the way back.

that rear axle though. major positive camber. tires won't last if if don't fix that. not sure if it can be bent back or needs replacement.

No, The guy I bought it from just moved from that area. I'm in southern New Mexico.

You could probably make a pretty penny from it if you parted it out.
But a trail rig is a sweet idea too.

I say that you leave the windshield and cut everything else off at the floor. Then build a roll cage and some tube doors. Get a boat maker to make you a removable, snap on soft top and doors. Or at least that's always been my dream.
