Roof rack question.

Seeing all the pics of the roof racks here I am starting to really like the look. I really like the racks with the ladder in the back. I was wondering how does this effect the tailgate? Do these roof racks put a dent in mpg?

• No noticeable change in MPG.
• Slight noticeable change in wind noise. No big deal in my mind; don't hear it with the radio on or the sunroof closed.
• Ladder makes the tail gate heavier, so the struts wont push it up as quick and you may need/want to replace them for some after market struts (not a big deal).

and yes.. it looks awesome, but adds a good bit of functionality as well.
