Anyone using the rubber Weathertechs that replace the cloth floor mats, not the ones that cover the entire floor.

Wondering if they are worth the money.

I have the WeatherTech digitals in my T4R, I had Husky Liners in my FJ and I like these much better, emphasis on "much".

the plain jane rubber ones are generic fit all mats.

I have the rubber Weathertech in my 2007 4Runner and they work fine. In my 2011 4Runner I chose to go with the Weathertech Digitals and they fit great.

They might work for you in Californicate, but up here in the frozen north, they allow too much salt and slush to soak into the carpet underneath.
I have the full Weathertech floor liners - love 'em!

I used to have them. I replaced them with the Weathertech laser cut plastic "floorliner" mats that cover the entire floor -- they are much, much better at protecting the carpet. Get the floorliner mats. Seriously.
