Running boards not even?

Driver side looks good but the passenger side I can not get even. Not sure what is going on. The back seat and in the middle looks good but as you get to the front it just gets diagonal and hardly any room to step on. Not sure what I am missing here only one way to bolt them on. Any help would be appreciated!

Not sure I bought from a guy off of fb marketplace

That is more enough of the reason to get rid of running boards entirely.

Those are OEM. I have the same ones on my 4Runner. Perhaps the mounting brackets are bent, or they are not installed properly. You should be able to find the OEM installation instructions on line to see if you installed them right.
