Running Boards

Thats a huge jump from $300!! :wtf:

Recieved another e-mail this morning from another canadien dealer and he quoted $879 for the limited boards in Canada. Lettle cheaper but still high.
I will pull the trigger if it goes below $500.

I'm trying to identify these running boards I've seen on the 2011's sitting on the lot. Anyone able to get pricing, availability, or any info on them? The parts dept was unable to find them.

Those are the factory running boards. Check this post out for the part number (and a potential purchase?).

Many dealers are selling these through eBay. However, their prices are all over the map ranging from about $270-$450.

It's not that style board. Look at the end caps and the thickness. They are thinner than the ones mentioned above.

Are these a TRUE TOYOTA part or are these a SouthEastern Toyota distributor part they created and made??

I like them just fine. Save yourself about $500 and buy them from Sparks Toyota in S.C.:

I got them delivered for right around $300. They are very easy to install. All you need is a socket wrench with a 10 and 11mm sockets. Be sure to use some anti-sieze compund in case you ever want to take them off.

Dealership here in NY (well, all NYer's are crooks) wanted around $800 to put some on my 2010 LTD. NOT!

They are not rock-sliders by any means. They are steps. That's all. If you want to bang them on rocks they will bend. They are just aluminum. But they have the same styling cues as the rest of the new 4runner - chrome accents, boxy-look, etc...

My dealer in Chicago area wants $500.00 for the boards and $200.00 to install them...

I have them on my 2010 Limited and think they are fine. Here in NE Ohio with the winter weather they have really worked well. They are kind of snug to the body for a step and without them the seat bolster is taking a hit. I got them mostly to keep the snow and slush off the truck and have done great so far. I will be taking them off in the summer along with the mud flaps because I do like the look of the Truck as it was when I bought it.

Oh, you're right! I didn't notice the difference in the end caps. Other than that, they look virtually identical. Sorry for the mislead.

Those look like ATS boards. atsdesign.com P/N A610-510. I have them on my 2010 SR5. You can call Joe at Auto Elegance 800 277 6458
