Running Two Spares (where to get a second OEM spare)

Anyone know where I can pick up an extra spare rim without having to onto toyota? Going to run 255/75/17 BFG MUDs off a rubicon as spares.

Would like to have two spares after my ordeal on imagene pass this year.

Probably not. Had a 3" gash in the sidewall. But had a spare and just didn't feel comfortable going with no spare in the back country....so we just headed into town.

SR5 wheels seems to be the most often removed and least likely to be bought so I would look in the For Sale section and if needed post a WTB request

When I asked the dealer about one last year they wanted 135. And I think the spare may even be just 7".

OEM Spare

I like Imogene and the other passes around Silverton/Ouray and I wouldn't go over some of these passes with only one spare. I bought a tire & rim (complete wheel) for my TR for $35 at a salvage yard. A Cheverolet Silverado wheel (17" with 6 lugs) will fit on the rear of the 4R but I had to ream the center hole in the Cheverolet wheel a little larger to fit over the front hub.

My problem is when you get a flat in the morning in the way up. You change it out but do you really want to wheel the rest of the day without a spare? I don't and when you have small kids getting stuck isn't a very good option.
