I wonder what the difference is between this and Ultra Ever-Dry?

I also wonder what the longevity of a single coat is. Is it good for vehicle applications for water repellent to act as a rust inhibitor. Will it work in hot areas such as the under body of a vehicle near the exhaust or drive train?

I was reading that product at the weekend . Funny i had bought some fish oil spray just on saturday.

I will get the product as soon as its available here in nz. Perfect for the L trims !

Most of the stuff they suggest using this on holds a constant shape, except for canvas, which is still pretty stiff. I wonder how this would do for clothing. This would make the ultimate rainsuit or glove coating if it's flexible enough to make tight bends--imagine having this on work gloves when working on the vehicle! Maybe in the future they'll perfect a totally clear version that could be used on vehicle glass, or on paint jobs without changing the look. And as SVD mentioned, I also wonder about the heat tolerance for under-vehicle use.

Just bought some today--planning to use on my work gloves where I get into a lot of oil daily. Right now I have to use nitrile (rubber) gloves, because mechanic gloves would be destroyed in a few days, but the rubber gets so slippery, and eventually they tear apart. If the stuff makes oil run off, then mechanic gloves would allow me to keep a solid grip on things, and the heat of the oil would dissipate much quicker. We shall see!

EDIT: Guess I should've done more research first--pulled out the instructions, and THEN they tell you that motor oil will cause it to break down. Yeehaw. It works with COOKING oil, but not for very long with petroleum oils. Live and learn. Should still make a great coating for shoes and boots, tents, buckets, etc..

It would be cool to try this on the inner wheel wells. If it's circuit board safe, the ECU in my 87 could use a coating.

Wonder how well it really works on flexible surfaces... subscribed.

This is one of the confusing parts--while they show it being used on the insides of a phone in the promo, the instructions clearly state NOT to be used on electronics. Go figure.
