Ryan04's Build Thread

ya its complete bolt on that goes on the existing bolts. i also had to cut off the lower crossmember below the radiator. the one that has the tow hooks attached to. here are some of Happysmileys pics when he built it

Awesome bumper concept.

Ryan04 - did you completely remove your fender liners?

I just installed the OME kit in my 2WD V8 2004 Sport and have some very slight rubbing at full-lock and I fear that there will be some more when compressed. I want to do the more common "relocation" of the liners, but they don't appear to look like what anyone else's liner and doesn't really relocate well. I was gonna trim up a bit but then I was thinking that these are a bit unnecessary here in AZ (or at a minimum, I can trim up the bottom 1/3 of the front portion and "snip the tip" of the bumper.

if Happysmiley decided to build some of these bumpers I am sure he would get a good amount of business....me included.

your Rig looks great!

Agreed! I actually made a thread about his bumper to find who had made the original.

Third on that. No way I want to run a heavy ass bumper on my 2WD, but yours is perfect for a Pre-Runner. I definitely want one.

Amazing truck! Definitely looking to do something similar with my 2WD. 4WheelParts is having a sale on the same Procomps that you have. Before I pull the trigger, just wanted to see how you like them. Do you have wheel spacers, or is the wheel offset/bs responsible for that great stance?

Haha thanks! the wheels have been great so far. No complaints. The wheels have a little to do with the stance but up front my spindles push the wheels out about 1" per side. The procomp model that I'm running is 7032-7983

Thanks man! Wasn't my first choice, but I couldn't pass up the deal when I saw how good they looked and how much cheaper they were than Methods.
