So I got a message last night from SV Dude with a Craigslist link. Some guy wanted to trade 33x12.5 BFG KM tires for a setof 31x10.5. Gave him a call and here's how my evening went.
Pulled my 31" BFG AT
Drove to Denver made the trade.
Met up with SVD and took them to the Ft. Carson auto craft shop to mount and balance.
Made SVD do my light work.
Put slave labor to work.
I'll get a new pic in the morning so you can see the final product. Took it for a test drive and LOVE it!!!

Excellent. More clearance is always better. What happened to SVs 35s?

These ones actually have tread! SV's 35's were on their last leg. I couldn't beat the price on these.
SVD with all of his wisdom and awesomeness taught me how to mount and balance tires so I can get another punch on my man card.

Added bonus is that you get to stay closer to optimum gearing with 33's, instead of jumping all the way to 35's. Your rig just keeps getting better and better!

Thankd Bob. I'm happy with the direction it is going. I originally wanted 33's anyway so this gets back to the original plan. I LOVE the way they look on there. It just feels right.
Next, I have to learn to do body work, sliders and a rear bumper.

So even though we are hitting the mountains tomorrow, we decided to give a little more of a test run first.
Right after this, I got to use my winch for the 2nd time pulling "someone" out of the same ditch! Unfortunately, that "someone" had my camera so I have no pics or video of that.
