Somehow I don't think Toyota would offer much in the way of warranty support for it now....

Now if it was really cheap you could stash away the parts for a few years and run your 4Runner forever off it... but I agree $10k is the most its worth now. The leather interior is probably worth a thousand say, the engine could be traded into an older vehicle with the iForce since the engine has been around a while - it could be worth more in parts than as a rebuild.

I can see why the airbags didn't deploy if the impact occured as reported- on the front driver's side. Normally, there are at least two airbag sensors in the front bumper, and at least two have to be triggered to deploy the airbags. However, there is a dent in the front bar behind the bumper, which is almost in the center of the vehicle.

I was told that modern vehicle airbag deployment were based on the rate of deceleration, not actual impact sensors in the bumpers. Is this incorrect?
