Holy Headlights Batman! I think I saw you testing them all of the way across the Gulf, at first I just assumed lightning.

Looks Great!

I have to say, I'm always on the look out for your awesome 4Runner every time I go to BR or even pass through on the way to NOLA. Definitely my favorite Build Thread to follow.

Aux Electrical Circuit Mod

I decided I would try a project to have dedicated fused power all in one place via a Blue Sea 5025 6 Circuit w/ ground bus & Cooper Bussmann Resettable Circuit Breaker CB285-100, instead of individual leads running to the battery for power.

TEASER:
I have something in mind to keep it virtually water-resistant/waterproof. I’ll see if it works out.

***Will add photos as items arrive or get installed.

Below are the items I am connecting:

• 12V Circuit for Trailer Back-up Lights

• LED Light Bar

• Engine Compartment LED Light Mod

Seems like there is something else…. I’ll find out when I start unhooking connections! :D

Started fabricating my support bracket out of a piece of 3/16” plexiglass for the Aux Electrical Circuit Mod

Here is what I did. I got the bracket from Someone in Tacoma Forums. He laser cuts and presses them for whatever you need.

I have a filter wrench for the plastic housing, will it work with the aluminum housing or do I need to buy the new wrench too?

That's pretty slick and I like that wrench. Are there known issues with standard filter cap?
If you happen to drop the OEM, it may poroduce (<--OMG, what was that) produce a hairline crack that could show up at the most unforeseen time according to my Toyota Tech...other than that it's something I feel a lot better with. Maybe a feel good mod!
