Satoshi style grille

[SRQ-Runner]

After a lot of cutting and sanding, its finally done! All said and done it cost $10 to build the whole grille. $2 for the mesh at Lowes and then $8 for a can of plasti dip (which I used to paint the frame black). I'm very happy with the results as this is the first exterior mod I have done on the truck.

On a side note, if anyone wants one built just let me know and we can get it contact. School is out for summer, so I have tons of free time which I could use to build some more grilles.

Sorry to have to break it to you but it isn't satoshi style unless you have the Toyota logo. That name refers to a specific logo style that first showed up on YT several years ago.

I always feel a bit like a jerk telling people this but for some reason lately everyone seems to believe that name applies to all grill mods.

Yours looks pretty good and you can always add the logo later if you want to.

If we are being picky here I think to be a true satoshi the mesh has to mounted to the rear surface of the grill. :hiding:

But as long as you are happy with what YOU made who cares what it's called.

I think I was pretty nice about it and the fact is that this is a mod that goes back to the YotaTech days and is very specific. I figure people would like to know and clearly it was news to OP.

There's nothing wrong with his grill and to Satoshi-ize it or not is his choice.

The way I see it there is no superior grill style out there but some are definitely Satoshi style and others are not.
