I dropped by Roy's shop to watch him work on my updated skid plates at Savage OffRoad. Enjoy the pics. They do have a slight bit of photoshop done to them as he was wearing a competitors shirt to weld in. Ha ha.

Man, I just love the look of that plate from the front. Great touch stamping the name like that!

Whats different about them? They seem to look just like mine, he needs to make his cutouts smaller, he is losing too much strength cutting them so large.

^ agreed.. Which was my initial reaction when I first saw them. They need to do away with the cutouts all together and just use stickers or using cutout letters to weld on. Not only could it reduce cost but also time they take to be built and it'll add a lot more strength. Which all 3 factors are taken into consideration when spending that kind of money for a set. Don't get me wrong though, they look great.

The updated skids cover the front of the lower A arms and mount a little differently.
