Looks like 99% of the stuff I see on here. I actually like the grill. Wheels are ugly but that's mostly because I don't like black wheels. While I think it's a little silly to put off-road tires on a two wheel drive SUV, they're just trying to look flashy and that's what most people want. I couldn't tell you a time I've even needed 4 wheel drive on my way to my office.

I saw an article talking about how these dealer/regional packages becoming more common as a way to jack up the prices at the regional/dealer level to make more coin.

I was getting my 5k service yesterday at Autonation Toyota mall of GA and they've got a trail edition they "upgraded" to XP and added a Gobi rack as well. Original MSRP was $39k and now they want $50k..... At least it's got 4x4, but sheesh, talk about a mark-up.

while i did like the blacked out badges, overall i wasn't impressed. told him i'm happy with my '14 with all the trail goodies. while i don't use the 4x4 all the time its nice to know its there.

this model i think is for the posers wanting a pavement princess.

I will never understand the desire for 2WD 4Runner. Might as well get a Highlander. Or maybe the Hybrid Highlander, it puts the gasoline motor to the front wheels and the electric motor to the rear wheels. Issue is pushing $48k.

On a completely different note, I was in cars.com, and noticed Toyota Avalon Hybrid version going for 32.7k. Might be a big time typo.

If I wrapped my 4Runner around a tree tomorrow, I would have to consider it. Man sized car with great mileage. Might have issues getting all the kids stuff to college though, last time I looked at a Hybrid Camry, hardly anything for a trunk.

I want to take back the part about the Highlander Hybrid drive train. That was true for 2012, but I don't know about 2015.
