Traded in my 2011 limited for a 2012 highlander limited, picking it up Thursday evening. Will be moving over to the highlander threads but always back to the 5th gen 4runner section for ideas!!! If I get the chance will post a pick of the highlander, it is cypress green with black interior. smoother ride for hubby while he recovers from his heart attack and easier for me to get into. Will miss my runner but looking forward to the highlander :thanks:

Normally a goodbye thread on here would result in a total bashing of the poster for their lack of understanding of the vehicle, etc, etc, etc, but I think everyone here feels for your situation and hopes all the best for your husband and his recovery.

I'm sure the Highlander will work out a lot better for him.

Highlanders are great. My wife has one and we love it. It's surprisingly capable too. Congrats on the purchase; what a great color combo!

I love the highlander, sorry no picks yet, this forum is far more active than the highlander forum. So far I put weathertech digi fit front floor mats in and the cargo liner. Also the avs window vent shades. Have an avs aeroskin hood protector on order from Auto Anything. Not supposed to tell you this on this thread, I have a set of black weathertech digi fit front mats from my 2011 limited available if interested oops, my bad:cheers:

Couldn't resist some mods. . .

This forum gave me so many great ideas for my runner, I had to do some of the same to the highlander. Its a shame I cannot do as much with it, but alot of goodies for the runner are so not made for highlander. It does not even come with a trailer hitch standard! Hubby is on the mend but had a setback today now had a fib added in.
