Scangauge above rearview mirror - pic request

What are you guys using to mount your scangauge above your mirror? Is a blendmount my only option or is there something that fits better. Had one mounted this way on my old 2006 Tacoma and I like the way it is out of the way.

i forget how expensive the mount is that you are talking about, but i deemed it too expensive for my taste.

First I tried industrial velcro on the headliner but the summer heat didnt play nice with that and the sticky stuff constaqntly melted off my scan gauge and left it hanging by the cable. That only lasted about a summer of that crap then i elected to try a different method.

Second (and final) I found this over on the TW forums: dollar store tape measures and some 3m industrial doublestick (Simple Scangauge II mounting mod). I had a couple tape measures in the box already and just pilfered the clips off them. It has been PERFECT. Honestly wish I had done that the first time.

The Blendmount are $60. I used Velcro at first. But with the summer heat have changed to 3m double sided tape.
